The shipping is automated for Canada only and uses the Standard Shipping option, that will take about 3-5 days for Canada.
I had only problems using the automated shipping that was supposed to have a $2 basic charge and depending on the destination, the customer should add an appropriate amount. Since this failed in numerous occasions leaving me with a $2 loss, I will make the shipping a flat rate for the 3 zones I ship to: $2 for Canada, $4 for USA and $6 for International (includes ALL other countries, excepting USA and Canada).
The package is sent as a Light Packet in a padded envelope with no tracking number. If you want a tracking number, Registered Mail is $8.00 for Canada, $13.00 for USA and International and that includes $60 insurance.
Update: It seems that Registered Mail is only for letters and documents. I have to remove this option as it’s not valid. To have a tracking number you must choose Express Shipping and that is way too expensive and not worth it in my opinion. So far all the packages I sent arrived at the destination untouched in the USA, Australia, The Netherlands, Romania, U.K., Germany.
